ETA 2824-2 is a fully automatic mechanical movement which is driven by the motion of the wrist. It employs the very latest technology from ETA of Switzerland for mechanical watches. Having a balance wheel rated at 4Hz or 8 vibrations per second (28,800 vibrations per hour) which gives rise to much better time keeping possibilities. The second hand will appear to move without jumping, in fact it is moving forward with 8 steps every second
